Hello all!

I'm new to the forum and was wondering where I can find the stock valve sizes for my 267 'maro. I'm currently investigating a restoration and am using my dyno software to build an efficient engine.

I can't find the stock valve sizes (both intake and exhaust) for this engine. I want a baseline and a good understanding of what components are limiting the engine and why they are limiting the engine.

Your help is greatly appreciated!

1.74/1.50 just like early 305 heads had.

And PLEASE don't rebuild that slug of an engine. It's a complete waste of time. Drop in a Goodwrench 350 "universal replacement" engine in it's place with a small 4bbl on top and some headers/dual exhaust out the back. It'll make quite literally more than twice as much power as the original 267 and can be had for about $1300 minus the intake, carb and exhaust. Everything else you can reuse off your original 267. It's a very easy drop-in replacement- no more difficult thatn dropping the original 267 back in.

1.72/1.38s are the original valve sizes.

Thank you Nova 77x. I found the intake to be 1.72", but couldn't find the exhaust.

My Friend works at a GM dealer so I'll get a discount on parts. I don't think I'll be able to use very much stuff off of my 267 right now because everything seems to be ceased. Good old Canada! I'll see what a little elbow grease and penetrating fluid will do when I pull the engine. I'm dissasembling the 267 anyhow so I'll see what I can do from there.

I believe the 267 has two-bolt mains anyhow instead of 4-bolt like the 350, this will add strength and efficiency at high RPMs.

Thanks everyone for your quick responses!

The amotion.com site lists a whole bunch of spec's and is worth wading through, imho...
