What fan are you all using. I have a palstic flex fan thats too noisy so I was thinking of getting an aluminum fan.

I use the Flex O Lite 10,000 rpm flex fan, I personally think it's one of the best flex fans, if that's what you want.

Iam assuming a street car, so I would just recommend a stock clutch fan. Less of a chance of the blade deciding to launch when you least want it to. And they are less noisy, unless it gets hot.

Factory fan from a GM truck. If you want a factory clutch fan to lock up solid at all times, just take a pair of pliers & pull the coiled spring tab out of its seat on the front of the clutch and let it unravel.

I have blown up too many aftermarket flex fans, and I will never trust another one again.

i've got a original flex a lite "green" fiberglass flex fan that was used on all the dealer built supercars of the 60's and early 70's. this fan moves alot of air and have not had any cooling issues. try and find one of these fans now !! if your lucy you can get one for about $100
