Well, as the title states, I'm going to be getting elec fans. I have a Griffin "universal" fit aluminum radiator that I'm pretty sure is 31 X 19. Would this be the Scirocco-style I keep seeing? I have no clue :o

What about this one?

Thanks for the help!

Seriously, get a F*rd Taurus fan.

its a 2 spd fan that needs to be double relayed.......they flow a LOT of air & will cool anything as long as the rad is good.

They shouldn't have any problem cooling my engine then (my radiator is very good :) )

Any specific year I should rob an elec fan from one of them? I understood your post to say I'll only need one of them.

Yep the ford 2 speed Taurus fan is about the best one out there. You only need 1 of these fans. It's a dual speed, single motor fan. Has a low speed and a high speed. Moves over 3,000 cfm of air

Years to look for....late 80's early 90's with the bigger v-6 engine (can't remember engine size)

Look for a fan with S curved blades and 3 heavy wires coming out of the fan motor.. (2 hot wires, and 1 ground)

Here's a pic. of mine on a summit 31" x 19" alum rad.

And here's some older pictures on my fan and old stock style rad.

I have that fan on mine and love it. I just have mine wired through an on/off/on toggel switch..

10 ga. wiring from low speed wire on fan to bottom post on toggel switch
10 ga. wire from high speed wire on fan to top post on toggle
10 ga wire from center post on toggel to + post on battery.
10 ga. wire from fan ground wire, stright to - post on battery.

Yeah the only aftermarket fans that comes close to the ford 2 speed Taurus fan is the flex a lite "Black Magic" ones.. Those moves 2500-2800 cfm and price of $200-270 lol

I paid like $11.50 at a you pull it junk yard for my Taurus fan

Yes, you are remembering it correctly...unless you count the SHO's.

Thanks for the link, Rick!
