Well I'm getting everything in order to start driving my car again and i keep getting fuel in my oil so I'm assuming its got to be the fuel pump. anyway my question is should i keep a stock mechanical pump on there or switch to an electric? My setup is a bone stock 260hp gm motor with performer intake and proform 650, flowtech headers, if that matters.

A mechanical will do you fine.

The Stock Mech-fuel pump is so trusty and will do fine.
Mine has not yet gone wrong after xxxK run!

First, just because you have fuel in the oil, don’t assume it is coming from the fuel pump. If the car is hard to start or if you need to pump the accelerator a number of times to get it going, you might have raw fuel getting into the oil past the rings. This will also cause the oil in the cylinders to be washed off, so determine exactly what the cause of the gas contamination is before you buy the parts.

If the problem is indeed the fuel pump, I like the Carter Super Street Mechanical, M6900. I have used it on a number of engines, and never had a problem with it. Good performance, reasonable price. Good luck.
