ok, so i got a new engine harness, exact stock replacement for my 71 SS, automatic... well, there have been a couple of updates and I'd like to know what wires I can eliminate from the harness...

- TCS is no longer being used.
- Original carb is gone, replaced by edelbrock electric choke 600 or 650 cfm (i forget)
- HEI installed instead of original ignition

isn't there some issue with starter wiring with an HEI that is different than it originally was?

also, is the ditributor itself wired up differently?
