Would a 31 X 19 single core Griffin Aluminum radiator work on a street driven car? The car has a mild 327 overbored .030 with a manual 4 speed in it. I live in the northeast of the country.

-Thanks

whats wrong with the stock radiator? If it's just a mild sbc, you probably don't need any more than that.

This
(http://store.summitracing.com/partdetail.asp?autofilter=1&part=PLI%2D433918&N=700+4294839040+4294908216+4294925005+4294883114+4294860260+4294882964+4294908198+115&autoview=sku)will bolt directly in, cheaper than a Griffon.

I was looking at the Griffin because someone was selling one locally brand new for $120. Unfortunately, it sold before I had a chance to pick it up.

theFlash,
My original radiator is long gone, because the car has not been on the road since 1989.

ZS10,
Thanks for the link.

Please consider Northern Aluminum Radiators here for good value and I would buy the thickest one I could afford for later!!

And I have one from Summit in front of my new 496!!

Good value from Summit b/c they are their house aluminum rad's the last time I looked.

Years ago I called Griffin ordered a copper/brass 4 row to replace the stock 2 row and it literally dropped right in place. I didn't realize Griffin no longer makes the copper/brass only aluminum.

I recently bought a 2 large row aluminum w/ plastic tanks (replacement for 4 row copper/brass) for my 86 c10 and to tell the truth I like it better. Its made by Proliance w/lifetime warranty from Advance auto.
