do they work? do they give you a little spark show?

When I bought my 83 Camaro it had one on it and it was JUNK,and the stupid thing was brand new.It had maybe 20 miles on it and had already started cracking and started to melt around the plug wire terminals.
That's my thought's on them.

I had one back in the late 70's when they first came out.... it promptly melted... and left me stranded:whine:

I had one back in the 80's. One, you don't see it while you're diveing, two, mine got dirty pretty fast, so you couldn't see much anyway. I don't remember why, but I don't think I kept it on the car long.

I do have some spark plug boot sparkies, I also picked up in the 80's but never used them. They were meant for motorcycles, and need a spark plug with the screw off terminal. One of these days I'll try it for sh!ts and grins.

thats funny cuz they advertise these things to be more durable that a stock cap!

i wouldn't use it. any stock type with brass termials will be fine. you'll have to ask them for it. but napa/car quest/autozone keep them. accel has brass teminals also. better than stock anyway.

I got suckered in to buying one of those, It didn't work right for some reason and I threw it away. I think it cracked or would short it self out. I don't remember it was like 10-12 years ago.
