I am getting a lot of somke from my exhaust on the drivers side. It thought it was collant but now Im confused. The smoke is definetly white. If I stick my hand under the exhaust tip little drops of water collect on it. I did notice that the water on the gravel underneath it after running a little while does have a very very slight rainbow color to it though. I recently redid the intake becuase it was leaking from the end seals. I thought mabey its leaking coolant through the intake. Heres where Im confused I pulled all the plugs on that side(first time since putting in brand new motor last fall). The plugs all had some oil on the threads but #'s 3 and 5 looked good otherwise #1 looked slightly oil fouled and #7 looked very oil fouled. That somke doesn't seem like oil though(mabey it is?). Either way where is that oil coming from
and is the somke collant or oil, or posible unburned gas from a non-fireing cylinder?

Since you just replaced the intake gasket and now are getting this - I'd start by pulling the intake again and taking a close look. Did you use any sealant on the gaskets themselves? That white smoke is likely H2O sucking through the intake side.

I think you would have a heck of a time getting the intake to suck coolant the way most of the intake gaskets are on a bbc or sbc. Could be a head gasket. What does your oil look like? did you do a compression check?

I dont have a compression tester but my oil looked fine. No coolant in oil or visa-versa. The engine still has the same balls too. In fact I think it felt faster when I orginaly resealed the intake. Something else I just realized is I have no baffels in my valve covers. They are the tall edelbrock fined ones. Could it suck that much oil from the pcv and then wouldn't it be mostly in the front cylinders? Or mabey that oil came up while the rings were not seated yet?
