Well I had a little extra time last week and me and my son took advantage of the opportunity and installed the nitrous system on the 454. If you look real close you just can see the nitrous solenoid edge where the alum heat plate ends next to the fuel line. The big line is coming in from the pump and it feeds into a Moroso bypass log. The smaller line is the return that comes out of the back of the log and goes back down to where the pump is and it will hook up to the return line on the car. This way the fuel is not getting stored in the pump soaking up engine heat, it's just continually circulating to and from the tank. The Nitrous solenoid is fed from the Bypass log also and is pretty much concealed. It's been fun.:)

Are you gonna get enough pressure from the bypass?

Yes it is adjustable. It has shims that install behind the bypass valve. The bypass valve closes and it takes fuel pressure to mak it bypass. If it has a pressure loss it will close and keep it all at the log. I have a Big mechanical high volume & pressure pump that needs to be regulated. With the bypass valve mounted within inches of the carb. it will have a much quicker response time than a regulator mounted on a inner fender of firewall.

The solenoids are hidden pretty good but I think the Hobbs switch will give it away.

THAT is for the 'dash mounted fuel pressure gauge' :p
