Hey guys, I'm having a problem figuring out what height cowl hood to buy. I'm building a big block for my '70 ss with a victor jr intake, 1" spacer, and 4150 carbshop carb with 3" filter on top. I have a 2-1/2" harwood cowl hood now and would like to get a better opinion if mine will do or I need a higher rise before I paint car.

I have a 71 RS with a BBC, Vic jr. intake, 1" spacer. I have the BBC energy suspension motor mounts (tall and narrow) the correct bbc frame mounts (short and narrow) BG mighty demon carb and drop base air cleaner with I think a 2.5" filter. I have only 3/4" clearance under my 4" cowl Harwood hood.

All this fits under a 4 inch cowl.
