How do I rig the choke open all the time? I disconnected the rod from the plate, but the arm (attached to fast idle cam?)keeps moving while I drive which causes the idle to increase...

mine has a piece of threaded rod going from where the cable fastens to the carb to the choke linkage. I'll get you a picture tomorrow if you need to see it.
