I'm running a Delta custom ground roller cam (218/230 @ .050 .326"/.340" lift 111.5 lobe center), a zero decked 400 small block with .039" Fel Pro 1014 head gasket, and Edelbrock E-Tec heads. I'm using Federal Mogul Sealed Power hydraulic roller lifters. I don't have the dimensions on those lifters, but is there a standard pushrod length that I should be running? Maybe someone could get me in the ballpark so I know if I can use some pushrods I've had sitting on the shelf possibly, and then explain what I need and need to do in order to measure them????

Thanks.

What I've always done in the past is use and adjustable pushrod (you can make this with an old stock pushrod...cut about an inch out of the middle, thread both ends with a tap, and screw a long stud into both halves). Use this to determine your correct length and buy or make a set that's appropriate.

7.290" length to start your geometry inspection.
