how much do most machine shops charge to install press-in pistons to the rod. my pistons are new and the rods are recondition if it makes a different

$30-45 seems to be the gen. price USA wide. Around where I'm at the going price is $30-35

Mine is $4/piston to press off old one and install new one.

My guy's $2 per. We've got a lot of machine shop competition down here! It makes for some cheap machine work!
