does anyone have the specs or have used the crower cam 00439? we just bought it used with lifters from a friend of ours out of his stock car. It should work good for our 418CI sbc in our 75 vega.

we have a sbc 400 that has been internally balance and off set ground to a 3.832 stroke. has 2.0 gm rods that have been worked with trw forged pistons cut down some. This is the old school way before all the eagle assembly stuff.

we will run this cam with AFR 220cc heads with victor jr intake, 850DP to start. msd 7al ignition, roller rockers. NO nitrous.

the car is a 75 vega, fiberglass front, gutted, backhalf, lexan, etc. What do u think it will run?

Whats your compression? Don't you think the Vic Jr. is going to be a bottle neck? I think a Super Victor would better suit the cam. And that 850 might be on the small side too. 282/286 @ .050 is pretty big.

about 14 to 1. the intake and carb can be changed. we just have them sitting here, but will probably just sell them and get something bigger.

i was thinking about a 1050 dominator and the holley dominator intake.

Vic Jr. is a better intake than some people think, especially when ported.
