i know its not a camaro. sorry about that one. i am only posting on here because you guys give great help. its the best site on the web. does any one know how to get the fuel tank pickup out of the tank? the only thing i can see doing would be to a retaining ring off it. i don't wanna break anything in the process. thanks for the un-camaro related post priviledge.

use a hammer and chisel and just tap the retaining ring off.

yep i have a 70 C-10 and just puit a new seal around the sending unit. just tap the ring off and take it out, begentle if your planning on reusuang it. since the tanks are actually in the truck cab most of them don't get too rusted but if your is i'd spray it with PB balster or something similar let it sit for a little while then try and tap the ring off.

thanks guys, i got it off. man, i was surprised at the pickup in it. so much crap. i got the tank ubolted and ready to come i just need some extra muscle to help with the removal so i can get it cleaned. once again, thanks for the help guys.
