Its time to change the pump on my '77 and was wondering if there was anything better I could use instead of a stock pump. It is my daily driver so any fancy swap would have to be pretty straight foward. I could afford up to about 200 bucks. Any opinions are appreciated.

As far as better - functional wise, I don't know of anything. Some people go with late model pumps and such but I cant really see where it would improve anything other that looks, especially on a daily driver.
I bought an Allen Grove mounting kit because I didn't re-install my AC unit and didn't like the looks of that hideous mount, but that's just me.

There really isn't any reason to change the pump on a stock system.
If you really wanted to be able to make adjustments you could go with a KRC pump, since you can change flow and pressure, IIRC.

Zoops brackets, GM Type II pump, junkyard resevoir, pretty steel braided lines.
