i was wondering if any one put the holley systemax system on a 327 they say it makes 425 horse on a 350 but i was wondering what it would be on a 327 thanks

Probably even peakier and high-strung than it is on a 350.

Many people on this board dislike the systemax max kit and have bad things to say. I have run it for four years on my car and really am pleased with its performance. For the size of cam it comes with is still has great vacuum (15") and good street manners (I do have a 350). My car has great power from about 2800 to 6000 and can run high 12's. I drove 45 minutes to and from work each day for 2 years in traffic with no problems and also run A/C. I think the heads would be fine for a 327 but you may want to downsize the cam depending on what you are going to use the car for. For the price it is a great deal!

I am also running the systemax II kit on my 383. I have been very pleased with it also.Mine has gobs of low end and it keeps pulling right on past 6000 rpm.
