I'm having trouble finding the correct lower radiator hose for my 76 350. I bought one from Classic that just didn't fit right plus it doesn't have the wire spring in it. Now I see they are showing that same part number to only fit from 70-75, not my 76. I had a Gates on it (twenty years old) and it had the spring in it but the Gates that I have found around here don't have the spring. Has anyone found one that will work?

If it helps, I've never run a lower radiator hose that had a wire coil in it. I'd always take my old one to the parts store and match it up with what they had hanging in the back. I never had a problem with hose collapse or anything.

I just got an AC Delco lower hose, #24034L (GM#88908323) - no spring. I will reuse my old one.
