I have a friend with a 87 tbi 2.8 in his 87 s-10.we found a nice 2.8 in a camaro with the port injection.Will the tbi work on that engine and will that engine wotk in a s-10?thanks

it will work the bottom is pretty much teh same engine teh cam is a little different, the port injection is a far superior induction and would need just the wiring from teh camaro and swap computers

not that i don't think anyone here has good input on this topic but www.60degreev6.com (http://www.60degreev6.com) is a great sire for modifing these motors. they have all sorts of really useful info and some people worth listening to on the forums. the only problem that i ran into on that forum when i posted on it was repeated questions of how to swap a 3400 top end onto a 3.1 or people that want to get like 300-400 horse by just putting on intakes. but there are people that have good experience with these motors and have good advice when it comes to modifying the 60 degree engines.
