Need to replace my stock radiator. Want something that runs cool without costing an arm and a leg. Engine is a 1969 350 4bbl that runs hot. If I buy a stock aftermarket I am assuming that I should buy a 3 row rather than a 2 row.
Is there a good name brand I should be looking for?
Thanks for your help.

How hot is hot? Why is it running hot? Some things to consider. Is this going into the car in your profile? I'm not sure if they make one, but a 4 core or one for a big block. If you can fabricte brackets, you might find a universal aluminum one for about the same price.

I bought a 19 X 31 aluminum rad from Summit 179.99 two row, 1" tubes. Replaced my 4 row brass/copper. This is just like dwright 406 has going on. Last year when I had a rad shop put in a new 4 row copper/brass core it cost more than the new aluminum rad. Of course a rock took out the grill and rad 21 days, 6 hours and 37 minutes after I completed installing it.

Only problem with those particular rads is they dont offer the hookups for the tranny cooler lines.

Yeah that's true camaroman... But a good $50 B&M super cooler added to it will slove all that. lus keep trans cooler, and could keep water temp lower too

How are you guys mounting these universal fit radiators? Is the opening in the radiator support 31" or do you have to cut it?
