ebay for sale. This car is about 2.5 to 3 hours from me and I may go and check it out.

The VIN has the L in the 5th spot. And the numbers listed in the add seem to correspond with those listed on this site.

What are some other things to look for on the 72 to ensure it is the real deal? should it have a floor mounted gas pedle etc.?

What is this car worth in it’s present state? Opinions…

Did you see the car yet? Interested to hear about it.

Don't think 72's had the floor mounted pedal. Also did not have a Hurst shifter. Had a 130 speedo instead of the 150 in previous years but still should have an 8000rpm tach. If it has an L in the VIN it is/was a Z28.

Thanks for the link...

No I have not been up to look at it yet.
The price went way up on it yesterday after I posted this from 6100 to 10k? I will see where it goes, but may not be interested in it for that much with the color golden brown and its not an RS, although the 4 speed is cool. For the money I think the 70 with the 360hp may be the better investment.

Was really trying to get input from board members to make sure the car is the real deal. I see the grill is silver which is not correct. I have read a lot on how to tell the early cars, but not much on the 72 or 73 except for VIN #, which could be changed.
