Hey all,
With my recent acquisition of an edelbrock varajection kit and all the turbo ect, Im planning out my fuel system. Im replacing a mild qjet, inline glass filter with rubber lines and a stock pump. Im working on a GM holley 3310 at the shop right now, so far weve replaced some linkage parts, put in 78 jets in the secondaries and a choke (didnt have one). I havent decided on what fuel pump to use yet, most likely one in the 80-110 gph range. I will be using a return regulator. Plumbing will be all 6AN braided with appropriate fittings. Does anyone have any suggestions or critiques? What do you guys think about summit brand pumps?
So far:
mallory return style regulator, either mounted on the feed line of the holley or on the inner fender...
Stainless hose
summit full flow 40 micron filter

Thanks,
James

Sounds like you couldnt go wrong with what you have listed, ive never used the summit pumps but i do have a mallory comp 110 and it works good for the price. 110 should be fine with your setup i would think.

If you are going to use an electric pump, make sure you get one that is designed for CONTINUOUS DUTY. Most pumps claim to be, but die after a short period of time. I believe a return line fuel system is the way to go, creates less heat on the pump and less stress. Do you have a fuel cell, or are you going to weld in a bung on the top of the tank.

I am not planning on an electric pump, just want to keep it simple for a while. Im going to use the stock tank and lines for supply and return.

I havent scoped out the situation with the tank, but my car has a 3/8" supply and 5/16" return hard line that I plan to use
