Any members here do a LT1 with a supercharger (Vortec, etc)? I'm think about doing this swap and wanted to know if there is enough clearance for the SC.

In a 2nd gen ? I don't see why not....they stuffed a combo like that into a Datsun 280Z.....

I was wondering if there where any clearance problems with the SC and steering box?

we put a procharger into a 94 LT1 and had no clearance issues. I think in a 2ed gen it might be a bit closer to the steering box, but it should still clear.

Shoot. My buddy put a D-1 in a 1st gen and it clear s everything....so something smaller should fit. The LT-1 units are tucked closer due to alot less room to play with.

As far as the Datsun....it was on a website that had a video of it running UPHILL up a street and spinning thru 3 gears (at least) and leaving tire along the way...and almost running head first into oncoming traffic.
