I got some roller rockers with a set of 882's that I got and want to know how to correctly install these. Looks pretty self-explanatory, but bear with me and gimme your $0.02. It's something I really don't wanna screw up. Thanks.

Chevy rockers do not install and adjust the way your thinking.
They do not have a set torque setting, and don't just get tightened down.
They can not be adjusted with head off engine, cause you do not have push rods on other side yet.
The slot in center of arm goes over stud in head, roller tip part goes agaist valve stem., the little cupped spot is where it sits on the push rod.
So put your heads on engine, put push rods in through heads, then seated into lifters, now put on rockers.
Depening on type you have... The round grooved ball looking thing goes with flat side up. Then the nut goes on.
Search here on how to adjust the valves, but the rough idea is.. Get cam on heel of lobe for valve your adjusting, wiggle push rod while you slowly tighten nut till you fill it alittle harder to wiggle, spin, move, now tighten nut 1/4 to 1 full round tighter. Most say use 1/2 round
