Hey All,
My neighbor is giving me a new (he bought it in 1980 and never used it, all in the box) edelbrock vara-jection system for putting in his corvette fuel pump (a nightmare...not finished yet). This is the one thing missing from my martin turbo kit, and if I use isopropyl alcohol in it, how many more pounds of boost do you think I can squeeze out of it? Its currently set to 7 psi, do you think I could raise it to 10? Anyone use one of these kits before?
Thanks,
James

i used the vari jection system back in the early 80's on a 68 camaro rs/ss with a healthy 427bbc .i also used isoprophyl alcohol in it and helped the motor alot to control detonation and the alcohol seemed to boost the power a bit

i bet you can squeeze a little more boost out of your turbo but make sure your fuel system is ready for the added boost . you definately do not to want to have it go lean on you
