I have used them in the past with no problems. rogerh 03-10-2007, 11:23:26 AM I use the Accel shorties. They work very good for me. I usually do not mix standards and shorties though. It shouldn't have any problems. mnz28 03-10-2007, 04:42:13 PM I second the accel shorty plugs. THOMAS81Z 03-11-2007, 07:57:00 AM yeah i finallly went out and got them ,funny thing is the only place that carryed them was VIP auto , autozone ,pepboys and sanels auto didnt have them Marks71BB 03-11-2007, 02:34:24 PM I got the accell from Summit IIRC gregh 03-11-2007, 03:00:23 PM NGK makes some plugs that are as short as the Accel ones. I had to run them for clearance with my angle plug heads. I'll check the part # in the morning & post it. chevyz28 03-11-2007, 11:59:17 PM Accel U-Groove 576S shorties (made by Nippondenso) are identical to NGK UR4. I've used both on my Bowties. You really can't tell the difference between the two othher the color and the that the Accel's ground electrode is u-shaped the the NGKs center electrode have a v-groove. gregh 03-12-2007, 07:16:33 PM I forgot I changed plugs at the end of last year, I'm currently running AC Delco R44T's in my car with good clearance. I'm pretty sure my NGK's were UR4's. |
