I have a 1970 Z that originally had an LT-1 but now has a CE block. Would this still be considered or built to LT-1 specs by the factory as a replacement?
Thanks for the help guys!

Lowend 03-06-2007, 08:04:24 PM CE block? pdq67 03-07-2007, 10:29:29 PM "CE" = "Crate Engine", engine from GM and over the counter. I've already said my 2 cents worth before.. pdq67 Lowend 03-08-2007, 12:41:17 AM No, if its not an originaly matching numbers engine, than it's not original. keepcruisin 03-09-2007, 03:53:24 PM I appreciate the help. I already got the answers I was looking for on camaros.net. I was not asking if it was considered original...simply if the consumer exchange engine would have been built with the same parts as the original LT-1. Thanks guys. pdq67 03-09-2007, 09:29:13 PM I think it was.. pdq67 |
