If I had a set of small block chevy heads that originally had the 1.72 intake valve size, can they be re-built to have the 1.94 intake valve size?

They can put in larger valves, but these heads don not flow that well to begin with so it will not be that much of an improvement. Better off spending the money on some better heads.

yes you can machine them to accept the bigger valces. If you get these done on any heads make sure they machine the bowls larger also or it won't help much. Jeff
