Has any one used the stainless steel band clamps for your exhaust? I have eight of them on my exhaust system and was wondering on how well they work. I will not be able to start my car for another couple of weeks other wise I would already know. Thanks in advance.

They work fine, I've used them in the past.

Moving this to the engine forum. Plus an hour is really not long enough to wait to bump a thread.

No, Brian, you weren't.

Band clamps are common on large trucks. Don't know if that helps or not.

I used them on my Chevelle. I had a couple that leaked, so I used some header wrap over the seam where the two pipes went together and then put the clamp over that, no more leaks.
