Hello guys and girls, i have a 1980 camaro with a 305. a friend of mine is offering me a complete TPI out of an 88 firebird, complete with fuel rails, wires, ecm; for 150 dollars..I wanted to know if this setup will be complicated to swap onto my 305. what does a swap of this nature consist of? is it just dropping the intake on where the old one was, and connecting wires and fuel lines?.
-thanks for any answers and tips that you can supply. if you want to email me send it to (idemmu@aol.com)

Your biggest challenge is going to be the fuel system. Download Ultim8z's swap guide it's very helpful. If you have specific questions e mail me.

The '88 manifold also has the center pair of bolt holes at a weird angle. Instead of being at 90* to the sealing surface they are at 75*. You will have to enlarge the holes and angle the bolt seating surface a little bit to make it work.
Do a search and you should find lots of info out there on that mod.
