I'm thinking about buying a set and wanted to know how they fit and how good the ground clearance was?

I use them. They fit my 400 pretty good with good ground clearance for a stock ride hieght.

The thing that is not to great about them is the welding quality. Mine has welding splatter all over it and the paint gets burned off very fast, so if ya want them to look nice, then you need to strip em down, cut off the weld splatter and paint them yourself.

No real complaints other than cosmetic stuff!!

i just recently put headers on my car, i had a choice between hedman or flowtech. i tried both of them because i wanted the best fit. the hedman headers went in alot easier but had worse ground clearence. the flowtech were a little bit harder to get in but they had great ground clearance. the reason i choose hedman is because the were of better quality, and they had the gasketless collectors. im aslo told that flowtech headers leak alot worse then the hedman. i would recomend hedman.

just put the flowtecs on my 74 and I like them however I did have to take a dremel to most of the holes so that the bolts would line up to the heads..mostly weld splatter again.the clearance is decent although I do have to modifie the top of collectors as they hit the floorpans a bit..I cant say on the hedmans but the reputation would prob go to hedmans defense
