I have the scat crank, forged scat I-beam 4130 rods, and federal mogual forged flat top pistons at the shop for balencing. I'm running the the Comp Cam HE274. Holley street advendger 750 carb, a set of headers that are yet to decided on and prob going be running the Upgraded Vortec heads package deal form scoggin dickens with the performer rpm intake. And also with 1.6 rockers. What kind of power should this critter be making????? Oh by the way 9:7:1 compression. With TH-400 tranny and 2500 stall......oppppsssss its a four bolt 350 standard bore

I would think you'd be up over 375, maybe even brush up against 400 if it's tuned real sharp.

My limited experience with the XE cams tells me that you may want to start with some standard 1.5 rockers and see how you like it. I'm not the only person who has experienced increased valve train noise with these cams and 1.6s do nothing but make it worse. Just something to consider.

Good point. I assume we're talking 350 or 383?
