Event will be just south of Dothan, Alabama on Hwy 231 south at the National Festival Fairgrounds on March 9,10,11th, 2007. Always a good showing and getting bigger and better every year. Hey JayB, The fairgrounds are going to be off hwy 231, just north or the Fl/Al border. I'm not sure if im going yet. That area got hammered by the tornados last night.

It wasn't bad at all here. I guess we are too close to the ocean.

I am still planning on going, I will mapquest the fairgrounds, but it should only be an hour away. Thanks!

Swap at peanut festival fairgrounds on west side of US 231 south of Dothan, it's a big area and has signs letting you know it's a mile ahead. Car show and spectator entry fee are the same, $3.

Tornados were in my town, west of Dothan 28 miles, my family and friends are OK, my wife did work with a lady that lost her daughter though. AL power did a great job and got power back on Friday evening. No damage to house, just lot of roofing material all over yard, including an 8 foot 2 by 6 I'm glad didn't hit my roof. 2 blocks east of us all the nice pine trees and shade trees were knocked down in a very nice housing area. One block past that is Dixie Drive, houses were leveled there, so we were lucky. My stepson was with a friend in the school parking lot to pick up his friend's girlfriend, they saw the storm coming and headed up the highway, made it safely.

I'm still planning on being there saturday morning. Gonna bring some $$ with me and see what I can find! Not bringing the car though.
