What does "CC" stand for when referring to heads? And when head is a 215cc head as well as a 64cc head, what are those TWO numbers referring to? Sorry for the dumb ones, but how would I know if I didnt ask... PEACE

cubic centimeters- a measure of volume, also equal to 1 mL

64cc refers to the size of the combustion chamber

the 215 cc refers to the size of the intake runner

I'm sure your not alone in wondering. Especially confusing since darn near everything else in a chevy motor is measured in standard measurements, ie cubic inches. It would be a whole lot easier to measure compression ratio if the chamber was measured the same way as displacement.

lookatmyburns... Don't ever feel dumb about asking a question to something you don't know. We all had to learn.

Think about it this way... scientists are the ones who ask the MOST questions, but are considered the smartest of our society http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif
