Well just another set back. I put a towel behind it so it would show better. It's about the size of the tip of my pinkly.

It's in the intake runner of the TPI system. I was thinking about JB weld since I'm broke and cannot afford new pieces. Anyone have opinions they want to share? I'm worried the JB weld could fail and I'll have a chunk of crap in a cylinder.

If the metal is thick enough, why not tap it and put in a plug?

Not even close to thick enough, plus it's curved. The hole is caused by the over porting of the area.

It's aluminum? right? Find a welder set up for aluminum MIG & get them to zap the hole up, shouldn't take more than a minute & then grind it out, not quite as far this time, LOL.

I can't tell where you hole is, I assume it's just into atmosphere, and not water. If it's on the street I think I would fine someone to weld it up, and clean it back up. But on a race motor,,, epoxy in the intake and intake runners is very VERY common.

It's to atmosphere. I'm trying the JB weld but I'm not real pleased with the results so far. It is so thin at the hole I can see light through it. If I have it welded it's going to be next week at least to find someone that can do it (and is willing, trying to get anything unusual done out here is crazy). I sure was hoping to fire this POS up tomorrow and see if I actually fixed the damn oil leak today. I'm really getting tired of this damn car. :( It might be time to walk away for a few weeks.
If I have it welded, will it warp the piece? Besides the obvious issue around the hole, how much damage am I going to get to the powder coat?
Sorry for the whining, it's just been one of those "upgrades" that nothing goes well with.
