I just hope the mega shifter last longer then my quick silver did... Still gotta get some self-aligning rockers, but figured I could just get some stock ones from the parts store. And I just got my power + air gap manifold today, bought it off ebay friday night (buy it now) and it got here today! (tuesday) pretty fast... ok, excitement starting to wear off... hope it all gets here by friday, so I can go and start to work on it!! :) :) :):bowtie: :bowtie:

was it still running? I'm getting my parts ready for the vortec swap myself. I need the heads, rockers(going with the stock gm), valve cover(used stockers since I'm cheap). Going to get a different cam but want to pull the heads off to see what kind of piston I have. Should be fun once I get my setup done.

What happened to your quicksilver?

My quicksilver broke, not sure if i just ended up bending something or what, couldnt figure it out... I beat the hell out of that thing though :) made my car Alot more fun.

Oh, and yeah,it was still running. not all that great, but it still ran fine, I didn't know it had a crack in it (had my suspicions though).

what cam did you go with and did jegs charge shipping on the heads?

its a cs 268H comp cam. well, for shipping they have $0.00, but there was a 2.25 Delivery Area charge, though it was shipped to a business. it came to $272.24 per head shipped. Each one is painted a nice shiny black, with a big blob of yellow paint on it, not sure why... must have been when there were QCing them or something...

Where do you live and when won't you be home;) Nice load of parts there.
