thats a great cam for eveyday driving, has a real good idle and off idle torque. It will handle your power brakes.

Please consider either an old Isky 270 Mega on 108 LCA's or the old Crane/Cam Dynamic 274H06 on 106 LCA's to make her "cam-cackle" more for you..

It's the closer LCA's that cause them to cackle here... Stock cams can go from 112 to 116 or so and they tend to be really smooth...

He' knows what he's talking about there.

If you want to hear a cam with those spec's, make sure you get one with at least a 108 LSA.

I had the Crane 278H(278-222-467-110) in my 350.Hardly noticeable to a hot rod guy. However before that cam the very same engine had an ISKY 280 Mega cam(280-232-485-108) in it.BIG difference.Darn near every time I got gas I got the comment sounds nice or what ya got in her man.

I've also heard plenty of the CompCamp 280 Mega cams(280-230-480-110) in 350's.They just don't compare to the sound of that ISKY 280Mega.

If you really want to be noticed use something with a 108-106 LSA and a split lobe profile.

This ISKY on a 108 LS would get looks http://www.iskycams.com/timingchart.php?product_number=201271&timing_chart_id=128

Or the same profile with a 106 LSA http://www.iskycams.com/timingchart.php?product_number=201271&timing_chart_id=132

Just keep it in mind that the smaller the LSA the less vacuum the engine will have at an idle.
Here is the cam I wished I would have installed instead of that Crane 278H http://www.iskycams.com/timingchart.php?product_number=201274

Here's a Crane that's close 110082 http://www.cranecams.com/index.php?show=browseParts&action=partSpec&partNumber=110082&lvl=2&prt=5

Thanks Thrasher for the back-up!!

And I do figure Isky's 264 Mega to be a darn good cam in a milder engine too at 264/214, 108, .450" lift.....................

And their 264/270 Mega cam at 264/214/270/221, 112/108, .450"/.465" too for milder engines!!

Both should produce GREAT grunt, imho and the 264 Mega will cackle right along..
