Alright, I'm posting this in a couple places because I'm desperate. I decided to replace my distributor because I've been having drivability issues with my new engine because it was looking rusty and worn out, and because it was looking rusty and worn out. That is where the trouble begins. I pulled the old one out and got the engine to TDC, dropped the new one in, lined it up on #1, etc. Fired it up and everything seemed fine. I let it run to get to operating temp., but after a couple minutes it stumbled and died. From then on, it would start, but almost imediately stumble and die. I re-did the whole procedure probably 4 times today, and got the same results every time. Plugs, wires, distributor, cap, and rotor are all new. The only thing not new is the coil. I have no idea what could be wrong, but then again... I'm an idiot.
