I just recently bought a edelbrock 600cfm carb off of someone, i had it rebuilt but i would like to restore the shine of it, does anyone have any info on what i should use to clean it up, cuz it looks like its been sitting on the bottom of a junk pile for a year.

Once damaged, it's pretty much impossible to restore the bright zinc finish as far as I know.

If you have a lot of time on your hands and I mean A LOT, you can buy some blue magic polish at wal mart and polish each piecs by hand but it won't look like the factory finish, it will be more like polished aluminum. I did a holley this way once and it took a week to do it!
