so how bad is it around your area? we got about 4 inches of snow with about 1/2 inch of ice underneath. th one road out to our shop rt 177 is all ice and has about 15 cars in the ditch. the problem is it is in th eopen and the blowing snow is polishing the ice and salt does no good.

we got about 4 or 5 inches. but the trucks have been out plowing and salting and seems to be in order already. who would have thought the weather guys would have actually been right?

plowing and salting around here is useless. the roads are basically a sheet of ice. if they salt it, it will jut create more ice. so it is a mess around here, even though we only got 3 inches of snow. be did get about an hour of sleet before the snow started.

yea, we had sleet ahead for an hour or two, but everything just turned out sloppy, not real icy. maybe its just a tad warmer in the city, but the ice really isnt that bad.

Man talk about chaos, I dont think snow and ice is all that big of a deal, but an inch or 2 of ice sure shuts down Ohio, seems like everything is closed but hey I showed up at my job today and they thought I was a god since everyone was a no-show! and the boss ordered in pizza for us so it wasnt all that bad!

looks like we are getting snow right now, but i cant wait till monday when it freakin warms up.

Temp is 43 here right now, it's a heat wave! Bring on spring!

the weather did a complete 180 around here. it is beautiful outside. i went to the gym in just shorts and a tshirt and wasnt cold at all. i just dont want it to get cold again, im ready for some warm nice weather.

Is anyone planning on going.There's really two different car shows going on at the same time. One by the St Louis Street Rod Association and the upper lot car show by the The Horseless Carriage Club of Missouri.

We plan on going if the weather is good.Last year we took the Camaro,but were not sure what we'll take this year.The Gateway Camaro Club has talked about setting up as a club on the top lot with the Horseless Carriage,but there show is kind of snootty, no mods.If I decide to go to that I'll have to get new tires to go back on the white 5 spokes.I've got one bent wheel.The lower lot has cooler cars,but it's has participant and unless you have a lot of friends there you'll never win.I have some pictures from last years Easter show at www.photobucket.com/albums/d160/62f79 starting on page 18 picture es0640.
