Well, dropped by the local crappy tire to pick up some valve covers, and lo and behold all the sbc covers they have just have a single hole each- I need a pcv valve hole, the pipe that goes to the carb, AND the oil filler hole- whats up with these kits with only 1 hole per cover- dont most of the 2nd gens have the filler in the valve cover?

Any reccomendations as to a set of CHEAP ($10-30) plain chrome covers?

you can add oil to either of those holes. You'll just have to use a funnel. Edelbrock sells a "cheap" valve cover in their Signature series.

Well, alright then. seems like craziness to me, but I guess that's why they're so cheap.
