i have my kickdown cable partially hook up but not fully yet, b/c i don't know how to get the linkage put into place correctly, i will post some pictures when i get home, but if anyone has some pictures of there setup that they could post that would be greatly appreciated, it is a 72 307 (dont think it makes a difference but just so you know, with an edelbrok carb) (i know spelt wrong)

On older TH-350 trannys the geometry of it all doesn't matter very much. Just make sure the cable is fully extended by the throttle arm when you reach WOT. It can still have ~1/4" of slack in it even at WOT but you don't want it to be so tight it actually prevents the carb from getting to WOT becuase the kickdown cable ran out of travel.
