Took in a 71 Camaro as scrap today and it had 2 TH350 transmissions and 2 motor blocks inside. One of the blocks looked in good shape but I don't know what it is. If you can tell me please help. On the front pad it had stamped what looked like "T0620CS" and "14Y154977". On the back above where the transmission would mount it was cast in the numbers "330817". There was a set of heads that had the cast numbers "333882" on them and a crankshaft with "3951529". Thanks.

"CS" = 1958 to 1961, 290hp/283, Fuel Injected, 3-speed stick, 'Vette.

It's a keeper, in my book if it is still stock??

Ebay it to the 'Vette crowd for some good money for their restorations...

I think you are missing a digit/ letter here - "T0620CS".

The block 330817 is a 400 and the crank 3951529 is a 400. Those heads 333882 where used on 350's and 400's - just plain jane smog heads.... I think if you look at the pad again the T0620CS will have another digit - like T0620C?S or T0620CS?
