I have been cleaning up an LT-1 350 and found that 1 of the 2 lower head bolt holes below # 1 cyl is stripped of its threads . can these be simply helicoiled and run , or should I utilize head studs after helicoiling as extra insurance ? I would rather not use studs unless its absolutely recommended as it would make "incar" head removal a lot harder. Thanks ...
