This is a Holley 80457S, 600 cfm w/ elec. choke. Not a bad carb except for one pain-in-the-ass problem. After it gets to operating temperature and I happen to shut it off and restart it a few minutes later, it jumps to fast idle. Or will come on when driving, then kick off. It looks like something is triping or binding the linkage. Could it be that red plastic fast idle cam (why plastic!) or could be my choke cap. Or is it time for the trash can. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/rolleyes.gif

its time to throw it in the trash bin.. but only a special kind of trash bin. its a cardboard trash bin that says "USPS Priority flat rate" on it... and you have to put my address on it and despose of it at this place called a "post office" and pay a $7.70 disposal fee http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif

lol...

not exactly sure what the problem might be try wiring the choke arm linkage open and see if it does it...

www.holly.com (http://www.holly.com) go to technical service, then to holley tech documents. All kinds of good info there.
