We are putting a 350 in a 71 Camaro. It had the steel mounts on the frame side. We are putting the clam shell style on it. The bolt holes in the frame aren't the same. I figured I would ask if any of them are used or do we have to drill all 3 holes. I was going to go make a template from the 73 I have, but I wanted to check in here first. It may be easier to use the old style, but we have to go buy the engine side mounts. Thanks all.

I'd spend a few bucks for the matching engine-side mounts (maybe upgrade to better aftermarket mounts while you're at it) than swapping out the frame-side mounts. They're a PITA on almost every GM car.

Whats wrong with using correct poly mounts??
