Found a 454 out of a '88 or '89 dually. Was running when taken out but high miles on it the guy said. Complete including tbi and all acc's. $300. Is this a good price. I will not be using the tbi, but would this year tbi engine make a good starting point for a good street engine (468 or 496). Would it be a 2 bolt or four bolt? New to big blocks so any info would help..

If that engine was in the paper, you better go get it. Last 454 core I bought, I paid 350 for it minus intake valve covers and oil pan. The paper it was in came out on Thursday, I was there in the morning about 9:00. The time spent there loading it, there was 6 calls wanting to come get it. It will also be a two bolt main, that will work fine. Mark
