i will check it again, i went to check it lst night real quick and the valve for some reason picked up the clay and moved it, i think i had too much in the piston. ONne thing i isi have about 3/16 in between the cahmber and the dome, because that clay was not touched.

Defently clay the engine, what size valves are in the heads? Are they the 2.055 or 2.02? The only thing that should touch the clay is the valve, make sure there is at least 80 thousands clearence. You bolt the head down with no gasket. If your running a solid cam check the clearence at zero lash.

you'll probably have 0.200" or more clearence, but check anyway.
Put some PAM (cooking spray) on the valvehead.
