should have no problems at all and use about a 1" spacer for the P/S pump bracket to simulate the width of a normal exhaust manifold

you will have to remove 2 brackets on the underside of the car(one on each side) as soon as you start to install the headers you will see right away what bracket i'm taking about...

Yes you will need a spacer for the PS pump bracket. I didn't need to remove either brace on the A-Arm although it is realy close on the passenger's side. A few of the plug wires touch the header tubes, I will need new ones. Double check your transmission cooler lines, I had to tie mine off to the firewall to keep them from sagging onto the collector (no fenderwells so that might be why).

do you have your old powersteering bracket?

here you can see kinda how to set it up to use the old bracket with headers, all you need to get is a stud long enough a couple of nuts and a spacer(a small chrome socket also works good and looks good too)...

excellent i was also thinking of using a piece of copper pipe or something and using it as a stock piece, thanks, im also getting glasspacks that bolt directly to the header.

just a thought on those headers...I have them on my 70 and I needed to get excel shorty spark plugs...they were the only ones that would fit and I still struggle with getting an offset wrench over some of them.

Go for Hedman and forget about Flowtechs. They aren't as nice as Hedman. Thicker flanges and a better fit and they'll last you a long time! Hookers are great as well but pricier. -Jabin
