You talking about the Eddy Performer engine? That is a rather low number. Don't they come pretuned from the factory?? I'd be hot if I was missing 10% of my power! I assume this is an engine dyno and not to the rear wheels? If it were to the wheels I'd jump for joy http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif

Any engine you buy from any company is going to get you flywheel power. Are you saying you had it on a chassis dyno and it only came to 300hp?
Thats more than 330hp gross...I would be satisfied

No, because they have no way of knowing what kind of car it's going to go in. There are different hp losses for every kind of drivetrain.

HA HA HA HA!!! LOL!!!
I'm sorry man, but that is probably the funniest thing I've heard in weeks!

That's more like 360hp at the flyheel!

Not bad at all. 330 rated HP well be in a dyno room, numbers took at the crank, very few if any acc. hooked up like PS, alt. etc.

You doing pretty good with 300 RWHP. The rule of thumb says add 18% to the RWHP #'s to find crank HP as installed in car

So that gives you about 354 HP at the crank

They can't rate engines like that in RWHP cause a stick shift trans won't "eat" as much as an auto trans.

There's a power diff. in power steering vs. no PS, even diff type alt. can use up more HP than others.

Cars with elec fans will have alittle more power than cars with mech. fans, etc etc

Glad to see Edelbrock is underrating those engines. I knew they had more oats than advertised!
